We may not have been on tour this week, but we’ve definitely been busy with outreach and participation activities.
In University of Wales Trinity St David BA Dance first years explored partner and ensemble work with Seb and Jess. Cardiff Metropolitan University BA Dance first years had a workshop based on Stories from a Crowded Room with dancers Lara and Rachael, specifically exploring partner work, and how you can use Stories from a Crowded Room as a stimulus during the devising/choreographic process.
As a continuation of our #EFsorry campaign, Kelly and Cat ran a social media workshop at Cardiff Youth Cool Deaf Club, exploring how Earthfall use social media platforms to engage with audiences and within the performance. Have a look at one of our apology video below:
Finally we ran a Stories from a Crowded Room workshop with drama students from Christ College, Brecon. Students explored the devising process, and conducted a Q&A with company members, Alex and Rosalind. It was great to see all of the students and staff get so involved.
