Dance and Live Music Jam Session
This is an opportunity to join Jessica Cohen (Joint Artistic Director) and company performers for a dance and music jam session.
Friday 4th March, 17.00 – 20.00, Earthfall Studio at Chapter Arts Centre
Friday 11th March, 17.00 – 20.00, Earthfall Studio at Chapter Arts Centre
Open to final year students and professional dancers and musicians.
The jam session will take the form of structured improvisations both by the dancers and musicians. The aim of these sessions is to understand a mutuality between live music and movement and have fun while doing it.

Earthfall offer placements throughout the year to applicants of 16 years and over who are undertaking a relevant education or university course, e.g. in Performance Arts, Dance, Drama, Theatre Studies, Arts Management or any other appropriate subject. Our work placements are available to arts professionals looking to develop their knowledge and skillset. They can be an ideal opportunity for performers looking for a career change whilst staying within the arts.
Placements are available within four departments; Marketing, Participation, Development and Management. Our placements offer an insight into the operations of a touring company with the chance to work exclusively with one department, or with all departments, giving an overview of the company. Places are limited and demand is high and because of this we do ask that all work experience applicants demonstrate a proven interest in Dance or Physical Theatre. Please include any supporting information that you feel will strengthen your application.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer practical placements shadowing Artistic Directors, Company Dancers or creative Technical teams at the moment.
You may have the opportunity to observe rehearsals and the creative process. All placements are at our offices and studio in Canton, Cardiff and are unpaid.
