Earthfall are holding an open audition for 1 female dancer / physical performer for touring production ‘Chelsea Hotel’.
• Performers should have a dance/physical theatre background and experience of devising new work
• You will need to be available from 16th September – 7th December 2013
Please send a full CV and photographs in advance by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘Chelsea Hotel’ in the subject line. Please bear in mind that the dancer position for the autumn is not to create a new piece of work, but to replace one of the Chelsea Hotel dancers on maternity leave for the autumn tour.
It is strongly desirable, but not essential, that you can sing and that you also have a clean British driving licence for at least one year.
Earthfall is an EQUITY / ITC Approved Manager and a member of Dance UK.
Rehearsals for Chelsea Hotel started on the 11th March at Wales Millennium Centre. With the regular crowd of Lara Ward, Rosalind Brooks and Sebastian Languenuer back and ready to go, it was an exhausting but exciting welcome week for new dancer Alex Marshall Parsons.
After two weeks at WMC the company moved up to the Sherman Cymru studio space. This is the first show in which sound technician Felix Otaola has performed as a musician, though performing is nothing new to Felix who plays guitar and sings in several bands.
The next few weeks will see the piece really take shape as the musicians and dancers work together to create some of the stories from theChelsea Hotel’s illustrious past.
